- When is Design Ranch 2011?
- Thursday, April 14 - Sunday, April 17, 2011. Design Ranch occurs every 2 years.
- Where is Design Ranch?
- At Waldemar Ranch, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country near Hunt, Texas. It's about 2 hours west of Austin and San Antonio.
- Who attends Design Ranch?
- We've had all walks of life attend Design Ranch, from designers to copywriters, illustrators, photographers and other creative souls. Design Ranch is for designers and creatives of all disciplines seeking a recharge. This design retreat focuses on design creativity, rejuvenation and networking. Workshops are intended to stretch your skill set, get your hands a little dirty, and teach unconventional methods of thinking and making as a means to refresh a passion for design.
Registration
- When can I register?
- Design Ranch 2011 online registration opens in October 1, 2010. All attendees must be registered prior to arriving at Design Ranch. Join our mailing list, follow us on Twitter, or join our Facebook group for more the most up-to-date information.
- How much will it cost to attend?
- Our registration page tells all.
- Does Design Ranch offer a group discount?
- Yes. A group discount is applied to groups of three or more. All attendees must be from the same company, and register within two days of each other. Group discounts reduce registration rates by $25 per person.
- Does Design Ranch offer a student discount?
- Yes. To qualify for the student rate, we require a copy of your student ID and proof of course schedule showing 12 current credit hours. This will be requested upon registration and must be verified to guarantee the student rate. Student discounts reduce registration rates by $50.
- How do I book my cabin or room?
- Once you register for Design Ranch you will receive more information about reserving your room All room and board accommodations must be made directly with the ranch. Only registered Design Ranch attendees may reserve rooms You'll find complete information on the Lodging & Travel page. Please be sure to make your reservations as soon as you register for placement in cabins. Early Bird Registrants will receive priority when booking rooms.
- When is the Early-Bird registration deadline?
- The Early-Bird registration deadline is December 15, 2010.
- What if I need to cancel my registration?
- If you cannot attend Design Ranch, please email registration@designranch.org by March 1, 2011, to qualify for a 50% refund. For cancellations after March 1, 2011, there will be no refunds issued. Lodging cancellations are the responsibility of the attendee, and refunds for lodging follow the lodging facilities' respective refund policies. Address all cancellation requests to:

- Registered attendees will be sent further information about online workshop registration as the date approaches. Early bird registrants will have priority in workshop selections.
